Welcome back to the Natick Community!
In the coming weeks, we’ll share with you the updates from our summer work, district goals for the school year and exciting happenings in the schools. But for now, we’d like to show you how our collective efforts as a community make a difference and serve as the backdrop for our collective efforts to educate students and create caring and empowered citizens.
Natick (including Natick students and peer leaders & SPARK Kindness) were featured in a segment on WGBH TV & Greater Boston. Video is HERE. I appeared in studio with Dr. Rick Weissbourd of Harvard Graduate School of Education to talk about our work.
The reporter who covered the story said that she didn’t plan on making the segment all about Natick, but once she got here and spoke to parents, she decided to feature what’s happening in our town! (By the way, Carolyn Boyce, so eloquent in the segment, is the co-chair of the Johnson PTO)
So proud of our community!
