Dr. Terrence Roberts Visits NHS

Terrence James Roberts was one of the Little Rock Nine.  The Little Rock Nine was a group of African American students who, in 1957, were the first black students ever to attend classes at Little Rock Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. He and the other people of the Little Rock Nine were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal by President Bill Clinton.  He visited Natick High School as part of Natick’s collaboration with the Facing History and Ourselves program.  Pictures of the event below.

  1. Amazing! What more can we wish for our kids than that they learn important history from those that lived (and live it still)? So incredibly grateful to the teachers and administrators that made this happen.
