Recently, Natick High School Visual and Media Arts teacher, Angela Wong attracted the attention of the Adobe Education Exchange with her lesson plan for creating a “Current Event Collage”. The Adobe Education Exchange curates resources for humanities teachers in an effort to encourage more widespread use of the Adobe software in the classroom, and Mrs. Wong’s lesson was an exceptional fit for the goals of this program.
With her permission and assistance, Adobe worked to adapt her lesson for use by humanities teachers globally. After working collaboratively with Adobe, Mrs. Wong’s lesson has been published and shared on their sites.
“I was thrilled with this [project]! Some of our [NHS] student work is in the document, with a link to my Google slideshow that has more Natick student work”, said Mrs. Wong. She’s very happy to have her practice highlighted and work by Natick students recognized on an international platform.
She’s very happy to have her practice highlighted and work by Natick students recognized on an international platform. In addition, Mrs. Wong has been invited to serve as an Adobe Education Leader, where contributions of innovative educators in K–12 who are effectively using Adobe tools and applications to promote excellence in the classroom are highlighted.
