Unified Sports: Bringing Students Together On and Off the Field

As we approach Special Olympics Day, we want to share this video—created by Senior Teddy Borgman for his senior internship project—profiling the 2019 Natick Unified Track and Field Team.

Natick High School’s Unified Sports, founded in 2017, was developed to be inclusive of students of all abilities. Participation on these teams goes beyond competition, and helps develop and pull out the best in all athletes with (or without) intellectual disabilities.

Teddy has been attending practices and meets on a regular basis in order to compile the film required for the video as well as to develop a relationship with our coaches and team members. He’s produced great work, check out the video below!
